Internship experience:
My internship involved working within a government psychiatric hospital’s multidisciplinary team, where I gained experience with a diverse patient population. This included individuals with moderate to severe mental impairments, cognitive distortions, mood disorders (anxiety, depression), trauma, substance addiction, and psychosis. I also participated in assessments to determine appropriate school placements for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
Community Service experience:
My community service at Red Cross War Children’s Hospital provided me with experience supporting children and their families through a range of difficulties. Beyond medical conditions, I focused on psychosocial issues, including behavioral problems, mood disorders, family system complexities, and the experience of bereavement.
